Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), a member of transforming growth factor β (TGF-β), shows different sex-related functions. In male, from the fetal development till the puberty, the expression of AMH by Sertoli cells causes regression of Mullerian ducts with subsequent testicular differentiation.
